HI ,

We have been using nebulizer treatments to treat both of my boys asthma for

years and years. I have never heard of only using it for CF(and I have a

cousin with CF). Our allergist/immunologist is the one who wrote the

prescription for it. I can think of dozens of times that we were at the

Pediatricians office and they took a listen and went and grabbed their own

machine to do a treatment. Hope starts to feel better soon.

Thankyou to everyone who has welcomed me to the fold! It is like a

weight has been lifted from me to knoe there IS support out there

from people who have an idea what it is all about! I have been kept

busy for the past two days answering Email and taking up offers of

help, so apologise for my tardiness in writting in. ALSO TRYING TO

WORK OUT THIS COMPUTER, LIKE HOW TO CORRECT THE SPELLING MISTAKES

WGEN MY FINGERS SLIP ON TO AN ALIEN KEY AND NOT LOSING ALL I HAVE

WRITTEN!! I'VE TEMPORARILY GIVEN UP, SO PLEASE EXCUSE THE BAD TYPOS!

is not doing so well this weekend, he developed abad chest

infection Saturday, and three full daus of treatment meds have not

yet helped, in fact he is worse with constant high temp I'm fighting

to get down, wet cough, etcetc, and now vomiting. Get through

tonight and will be at the immunologist tomorrow, who is his primary

carer. TRYING TO KEEP OUT OF HOSPITAL THIS TIME! Can anyone tell me

if they use neb meds on their pumpkins for chest infections?

s dr looked at me as if I were mad when I asked him if this

would be a treatment to consider, when I last saw him, and said the

only children who need this are basically those with CF.
