Guest guest
Which is best for baking: the hard white wheat or the soft white wheat? ----- Original Message ----- From: Food From Afar Sent: Monday, February 04, 2002 6:19 PM Subject: Lierre: White Wheat Sources Hi, Lierre, Yes, I have added to my grain supply slowly and built up quite a diversity. There are several places to order white wheat. Wheat Montana Farms sells their own wheat directly. http://www.wheatmontana.com The bread wheat is called Prairie Gold. It's cheapest if you can get a bulk order together, but they do sell in smaller quantities. Two other places I order from regularly are www.somethingbetternaturalfoods.com and www.waltonfeed.com They both carry white wheat products. Something Better has PG and org white soft wheat. Walton has Golden 86 (similar to Prairie Gold) and org soft white wheat. If you can order 200 lbs, the UPS Ground shipping is a lot less. Let me know if you have any more questions. Our co-op warehouse carries all of the products we order. We do bulk orders from these other suppliers as needed. ine
