Wow, you have a lot of different flour! I wonder where

you get your white wheat berries. All I can find is

already-ground flour (from King Arthur, not organic).

All the wheat berries at my local co-op are red wheat.

I like the white wheat better than the red. Any leads

would be appreciated.

The whole vegetarian debate is really charged. I

was a vegan for 18 years and pretty thoroughly

destroyed my body. Now I feel like the Ghost of Xmas

Future around many of my friends. I've learned the

hard way it's not worth getting into. My attitude at

this point is just to let it be known I have alternate

information about the health and environmental costs

of an all-plant diet. And I leave it at that.

Otherwise it's like arguing about religion: nobody

wins and tempers run high. But it's paying off

already. One friend has confided in me that she's

started eating dairy and even fish once a week. She

was so exhausted she couldn't even do a once-a-week

dance class. Well, I've certainly been there! But

because she came to me, I was able to give her the

information she needed. Rather than a hostile audience

with less than no interest. It's hard, though, because

of course we all care about our friends and families

and when we see them hurting their bodies with things

like margarine or soy we want to intervene. I

basically say, " You know, there's another view about

cholesterol (or fill in the blank) if you're

interested. " Then it's up to them to ask if they're

curious.
