i have recently experienced some rather major life altering symtoms

from my self diagnosed usage of zocor. i am a recent triple bypass

surgery,14 months and have been on statins for over two years. during

this time i have had the following symtoms. memory loss, confusion,

leg pain back pain, impotence, depression, you name it i have had it.

in describing them to my cardiologist he seemed to simply ignore me.

i stopped taking it on my own but have not yet fully recovered. the

mental confusion i experience, made me think i was experiencing the

onset of alzehimers disease. it was really bad. i am recovering

somewhat, but still have memory and confusion. i just wonder if the

many cases of alzehimers disease could somehow be connected to the use

of statins. i am sure these drug companies would never admit this and

kill the goose who is laying the golden egg for them statins i hate

them a warning should be hung from every telephone pole and bill

boards should be posted. by the way i found a physician who agreed

with me on my reaction to zocor.
