However, how is an infusion better if you are using herbs as a treatment? Doesn't this cause a wide variation in the amount of intake? She says that infusions are absorbed into the bloodstream readily, while capsules are not always absorbed completely due to having to first break through (digest) the outer covering. From what I understand, slight variances in dose are not all that important with herbs.
