Optic Neuritis - more specifically Uthoff's Syndrome

.... is where vision becomes more cloudy when the body is exposed to

heat, and generally returns to its previous state soon after the heat

is removed (for those that didn't know).

This is generally considered the precursor to more 'traditional'

forms of MS, as I understand it, after approximately 15 years of

relapsing remitting gives way to secondary progressive. Hopefuly I'm

wrong !

I understand a lot about supposed MS aetiology and its progression,

etc. but am really light on the behaviour of Uthoff's. I would

greatly appreciate input on, or references to other sites (I may set

up my own !) that discuss the specific form of Optic Neuritis called

Uthoff's Syndrome, how people's MS has progressed and what the latest

studies are (I can't find too much).
