Guest guest
You may be surprised, but saline soaks are new to me. ;-) Anyone willing to explain how they work and what you put in...? 1/4 tsp salt to a cup of warm water. Mom can either soak her nipples in a cup of this solution, or put a wet pad of the solution (I have them use a cosmetic pad) over her nipples. Saline soaks have been used for years for healing. We used to use them in the hospital years ago for all sorts of things. Normal saline is the same pH as body fluid so it doesn't sting like plain water would. Guest guest
i often recommend "shot glasses" held up to the nipples - easier than dangling" breasts in the bowl... and much easier of a mom has non-dangly breasts! Lyla
