You may be surprised, but saline soaks are new to me. ;-)

Anyone willing to explain how they work and what you put in...?

1/4 tsp salt to a cup of warm water. Mom can either soak her nipples in a cup of this solution, or put a wet pad of the solution (I have them use a cosmetic pad) over her nipples. Saline soaks have been used for years for healing. We used to use them in the hospital years ago for all sorts of things. Normal saline is the same pH as body fluid so it doesn't sting like plain water would.

Thank you, Jan!

It's true... I had an abcess once and hat to sit in a soda bath... ;o)

Fully forgot about it and didn't think of hanging breasts in them... hahaha.

(Right, yeah, yeah, you can also apply pads... it's my imaginitive mind running off with me... :-))

Bye,

nne
