Butter and butter oil

Well, I can't get any butter oil till April and I can't seem to locate any

x factor butter. The two phone numbers listed in Radiant Life don't seem to

acutally lead to it. One of them actually changes numbers twice before

giving me info about a diabetes newsletter and one says they don't actually

carry the butter at this point and aren't sure when they will. Any other

advice or do I just have to stick with the organic butter in the store?

According to the eatwild.com website, Kerrygold Irish

butter is from grassfed cows (and almost all dairy

cattle in Ireland are pastured). It is pasteurized,

salted, and not cultured, but it is very deep yellow

and tasty, they say it should be high in CLA.

Theoretically it would also have the other good stuff

that's in grassfed butter (except for whatever is

destroyed by the pasteurizing). It's not certified

organic, but from what I've read the cows aren't given

hormones nor are the pastures chemically treated. I

can't verify any of this, since I'm not in Ireland,

but I think it said something similar on the Kerrygold

website regarding pastures and natural cows. Is there

anyone on this list in Ireland that can comment on how

Irish cows are kept?

Eating butter from Ireland isn't exactly eating local,

is it? But it's good butter, and I do buy it

sometimes.
