Guest guest
Dear , I hope gets better soon. I can tell you that Hirschsprung's is a disease that affects a part of the rectum giving rise to constipation and subacute intestinal obstruction. From my own experience, Hirschsprung's is normally diagnosed at an earlier age than 's, but it is not impossible that she suffers from it. The good news is that it is a curable disease, although she would need surgery. Another possible diagnosis is megacolon, which is a term used to describe a number of conditions in which the colon is dilated. The differential diagnosis is by a rectal biopsy. I hope you find this helpful. Take care, Alberto, Ana's dad (??CVID), 3 years old.
