OT: Laundry soap/detergent again

Hello, all,

I totally missed the discussion on natural detergent/soaps. I sheepishly

admit that we use Tide with Bleach because it gets our clothes the cleanest

of comventional laundry products. I am ready to move to a natural product

but have no idea where to start. Is there a " Natural Consumer Reports "

somewhere? I need a product that gets my family's clothes **clean.** I've

tried Seventh Generation Ultra liquid and it just doesn't get the grimy dirt

out - like a " hot wing " stain that was pre-treated with stain stick or the

dirty grime from my husband's outdoor clothes.

So, if anyone has any ideas - especially for a natural pre-treat like

Totally Toddler or the aforementioned stain stick or shout, please let me

know. If this is deemed redundant or inappropriate for this list, please
