Guest guest
Diane, That is wonderful news about you being able to get rid of the crutches! I know that makes you happy too. We always love to see progress! Are you on blood thinners to keep it from returning? Do they know what caused the clot to begin with? I hope I never get one. My mom use to get them, so I know I'm more prone to get them than some others. I do take baby aspirin everyday. My SSDI was approved back in 1997, it took me 9 months to get a hearing date and 2 yrs all together to get approved. I had appealed twice on my own, then got an attorney. He has handled 2 of my sisters cases too and working on the 3rd one. He is really good and gets them done faster than doing it on your own. I waited until I was at the hearing level to get an attorney. One of my sisters hired him after being turned down once, she was then approved within 3 wks. Didn't go past that. Another sister was approved in a short period of time too. Now the 3rd sister, she attained him after the first denial and I think her approval will be coming by the end of this month. It's taken 6 months on her. Not bad, better than 2 yrs. I will keep the number you posted below and give it to others as I come across them!
