availability of Classic barrier filter

Hello, Everyone.

I am happy to report that my Medela sales representative called me this morning and told me that Medela will *not* discontinue the barrier filter for the Classic pump. They are still discontinuing the Universal Pumping System. When what they have in inventory is gone, that's it. But as long as the mother has a Lactina or a Symphony/Lactina kit, the barrier filter will continue to serve as the adapter to connect those kits to the Classic pump. Whew!
