Guest guest
Hubby not supportive, huh? I say, beat him over the head until he *understands* pain. All kidding aside, some people just lack the imagination to really " get " what chronic pain is like. I used to work with a guy... I got to witness his epiphany. He'd never had a headache in his entire life (he was about 45), and so he thought people were " making it up " . Then we moved into a " sick " building, and he started having doozies. He learned a huge lesson in sympathy, but it took actually experiencing it to understand. And he was a really smart guy! So, I think you've come to the right place. Guest guest
: I hope I have found a group that I can get support. Like I said it is hard to find a group that connects with you.I hope to get to know you and others better. I hope to learn what helps others with the pain. wrote: Hubby not supportive, huh? Guest guest
Well HELLO ! I am from Ohio and we sound so much alike. I have only been here for a litle less than a year, and the support and information that I have gotten already, has been great! And had helped so, so much! Our condition sounds very much alike, except my sciatic nerve is not affected, but the nerve down the lateral side is.....I have been told to have told to have some testing....and then surgery in about 2 weeks. Im trying to figure out where to go from here. Well, I cant wait to get to knowyou....AND, I am so sorry that your husband isnt there for you...Mine is, to a great extent! And also I have 2 daughters, ages 8 and almost 7 ---and they help me so much, (usually cheerfully...he he he ) So I am trullly blesssssed! Again, WELCOME! And I hope to talk to you again soon!!! in OH I am new to the group. I am new to the group. My name is from NC. I have had fibro for 12 years, bulging disc in low back which presses on sciatic nerve. I also just learned that I have DDD and bone spurs. I am looking for a group that I can get support from. It is hard in finding a group that I can feel free in asking questions and others talking to me. I really need the support cause I don't get it here at home. I am 47 and have a daughter 18 and married. Husband is not at all supportive.
