Guest guest
We already went through all of that. ::sighs:: The pen isn't strictly a neccessity, since, the other method is less expensive, and there are devices that allow for the use of surrenges... I can't spell that word to save my life. heh My primary care doctor has tried twice, and the prescription isnot filled. Harold
Guest guest
Brings up a good point, no one pays for the Count-a-dose either, but fortunately it is only $50, and once you get it at least insurance does pay for the needles and insulin, though I don't know that MediMedicare pays for drugs at all, and I don't know anything about Medicaid. Guest guest
That's ture, no one pays for the count-a-dose---unless you are a client with the Department of Rehabbilitation. I buy them all the time for my cients. I don't know why your MediCaid won't pay for a novalin pen, either. If you physician writes the prescription with the workds on it like, " this is needed to provide independce for a blind diabetic " , you have the right to advocate for your self with MediCaid and appeal their deniel. Guest guest
Thank you, I know that but I had the money and so I just went ahead and paid for it. At the time, I was not a client of rehab and hadn't been for years. Thanks anyway. LaWanda
Guest guest
Sorry to hear about the medicaid. They can be very frustrating.
