nicola - i hate them too. i feel they de-normalize breastfeeding and make it a "thing" that needs life adjustments, purchases, etc.

a lot of moms seem to want them or think they should have them, but i never recommend them and prefer to talk with moms about other ways to meet their own needs for privacy, if that is the issue...

And even if they *do* ask for them... that might tell us more about society than about those moms. ;-)
