It has been weird weather all over the U.S., that's

for sure. We went from 63 to 9 in a day. We were

then below Zero and now today back up to 40. No

rain here, but we have had some snow.

You mentioned Zoloft for your mom. My dad had

taken Zoloft as well and a very high dosage. It

seemed to help somewhat but he was still very

teary and somewhat aggressive. I have wondered

how your mom is doing so thank you for giving an

update.

-- Re: Anti-depressants

We first tried Lexapro, but that didn't help much. The doctor then

switched Mother to Zoloft because apparently it's easy to switch

between Lexapro and Zoloft. The Zoloft has helped and we recently

increased her dose since she started crying again and being more

agitated. I think the increase is starting to help, but it takes a

couple of weeks or more to get the full benefit.

Our doctor changed one medication at a time to make sure that each was

helping and at the correct dose. It takes awhile, but at least you

know that you are getting the most out of each drug.
