Guest guest
Hi all, My FIL Dizz, has gotten up several times and tried to walk. He has fallen twice, the other times he has been caught before he can take any steps. The kidneys are working, we were told that his artificial sphincter's was either damaged by the ER people or it was the origin of this nightmare. They are not sure. They just know that now his kidneys are working. The doctor seemed to think that it may have been Dizz's fault by not emptying this all the way, so by not emptying it, it just backed up and caused the kidneys to shut down. Thanks for all the positive thoughts and ideas. I've printed up some stuff for the staff at the hospital. I should have thought of this earlier, oh well. Also to Dena. I'm too new to Lewyville to offer any advice. All I can give you is a cyber hug and send my prayers your way. Your symptoms do sound like anxiety. I experienced that after my mother passed away 3 years ago. They put me on some happy pills that turned me into a zombie, I felt no pain, no joy, nothing. It was okay for awhile, until I was ready to accept reality again. To everyone in this group, I send my sincere thanks and gratitude. My MIL laughs at me every time I mention Lewyville and all that I have learned in just a week time. My SIL says that when I talk about you guys it sounds like I'm talking about family. I told her I was and that she should join us here. She didn't sound to thrilled, oh well her loss. I've made several friends here and I treasure them all. You are all a huge blessing. Hugs to you all. K, I've talked enough. I'm on a mission to see my FIL's doctor today, funny he's never around. Huh? When I get more news I'll post again. Dena, hang in there friend. Here's another cyber hug, ones just never enough. Tori
