I'm not extremely organized, but I always have something going on: either I have 1. something soaking 2. something simmering 3. something drying out in the oven 4. something marinating just about all the time. This method keeps food coming. If nothing is soaking, simmering or drying out, then I know that I need to get back on the ball.
