Guest guest
Belinda, Thanks for asking. Most people including docs don't know this illness. They do a sweat test to distinguish between it and cystic fibrosis. It includes pancreatic insufficiency, which causes malabsorbtion, neutropenia and sometimes other marrow problems, and sometimes skeletal changes. Most present as failure to thrive. There are freqent infections and its hard to get well from them. Some also have Hypogammaglobulinemia like Ben. Shwachman's usually results in short stature. Hamilton the skater is said to have it. We recently received a sample of the Scandishake, but haven't tried it yet. I called for a free sample. They have a lactose-free shake according to the literature that came with the shake sample. Our sample shake says 600 calories for 8 oz. Thats amazing. 1- if you want to check on it. I wish I had asked for chocolate, because they sent vanilla, which Ben isn't excited about as he hates other vanilla drinks. Maybe he'll try it anyway. Is Cassie excited about Easter? Guest guest
Hi Folks I just joined the group and thought I would introduce myself. I purchased my Bullworker 2 in 1967 in Germany. I used the bullworker daily for the first few years and then slowly moved away from it as other interests took priority. Periodically I dig the bullworker out of the closet and start into a program with the best of intentions, but again, after a few days, the use became sporadic and the Bullworker joined the rest of the clutter in the closet. I have now retired and have dug the bullworker out of the closet again. Prior to starting into a program of use, I decided to check the internet to see what the latest developments were and to see if the training programs had changed. I must say, the one day on and one day off between exercise routines makes sense. I also like the idea of Isotonic Training versus completing all of the exercises once and then moving on to the next exercise. Anyways, during my check of the internet, I was pleased and surprised to see this group. I look forward to any tips the group may offer. Regards Larry Mac
Guest guest
Hi, Larry and welcome to the club. It's good that you have decided to dig your BW out of the closet again.Take a look at the post made by of Bullworker, USA. He used a Steel-Bow, which is a smaller version of the Bullworker, to dramatically change his body during a 12 week period, I believe. The post is dated May 16th and there is a link to click on to show his before and after photos. The Steel-Bow has three different springs that you can use and is excellent for any strength level. If you are not familiar with the Steel-Bow you can find out about it at: http://www.bullworkerusa.com.Again, welcome to the club and I look forward to your input.Peace and blessings,RichSubject: IntroductionTo: bullworkerclub Date: Sunday, June 22, 2008, 9:15 PM Hi Folks I just joined the group and thought I would introduce myself.
