Noproblemo said I and stupidily ordered on line as such Bullworker.com > for mrn > Steel Bow > place order. Have you spotted the error? Blindly, i ordered the men's version. I am not up to date with the ladies section so I didn't know there was a difference. turns out that the men's starts with 25lb spring and then inter-changes to a 65lb spring. Where as the ladies is less, at only 45lbs. (insert a row of sad smileys here)
Guest guest
Well what a relief to here that H, thanks muchly. After some googling, turns out the reference quoted that i was worried about was referring to another product, a " lady bullworker " not related to my dear faithful Steel Bow. http://bullworker-usa.com/ And to fellow members I deny emphatically the rumour that it's me & not my wife who has a problem with the 70lb. #2 spring being too strong. ................................................. > > There is only ONE Steel-Bow model so rest assured you orderd the correct one. > End resistance of the 3 springs: > Level 1 = 35 lbs > Level 2 = 70 lbs > Level 3 = 100+ > Â > You choose the level and the Bullworker will do the rest... > Â > > Bullworker > > > ________________________________ > > To: bullworkerclub > Sent: Saturday, April 28, 2012 7:58 PM > Subject: STEEL BOW BLUES > > > > Â > > What a boo-boo. Guest guest
I recall that the resistance attributed to the Steel Bow springs two or so years ago was 25, 65 and 105 lbs., respectively. Are the 35/70/100 attributions to a newer model? > > There is only ONE Steel-Bow model so rest assured you orderd the correct one. > End resistance of the 3 springs: > Level 1 = 35 lbs > Level 2 = 70 lbs > Level 3 = 100+ > Â > You choose the level and the Bullworker will do the rest... > Â > > Bullworker > > > ________________________________ > > To: bullworkerclub > Sent: Saturday, April 28, 2012 7:58 PM > Subject: STEEL BOW BLUES > > > > Â > > What a boo-boo. Guest guest
Gentlemen,Depending on the shipment... there is a slight variation of Spring resistance. The original 125 lb Level III had to be scaled back due to the difficulty of spring change. There are no markings on these versions, but those that may have one can tell by the effort required to change the spring. It is human nature to be "concerned" with the resistance level. For me, it is Level I; Level II; Level IIIIt simplifies the measurement. There is either full compression or there is not.Consistent full compression usually means it is time for a spring change.
