Guest guest
I called Trader Joe's customer service line today to ask them about their fish eggs. They said they were taken from wild (not farmed) fish. The salmon roe is from wild Alaskan salmon. I avoid preservatives after seeing what a huge difference it made in the health of my animals to remove them from their diet. Maybe I'm remembering wrong, or maybe my TJ's doesn't have the same fish eggs. I'll check again next time I'm there. I assume packaged fish eggs would have to be either hot-packed (and therefore cooked) or have preservatives added. The former detracts by removing good stuff, the latter by adding bad stuff. Am I wrong here, can we get packaged fish eggs that are really good for you? Guest guest
TJ's carries a number of different fish egg items. The ingredients on the salmon roe are: salmon roe and salt. They also have some tiny fish eggs that have colors and other chemicals in the ingredient list.
