Guest guest
I do not know what Bianca's experience has been however outside the realm of an all raw diet of which I have not worked with, raw honey will absolutely provide the same nightmarish issues of other carbohydrates. It is received rapidly, causes insulin dump, alters liver and adrenal function and essentially creates the same hormonal mess that is created by other carb type foods (veg not included). It is tolerated well and is a wonderful food IN SMALL AMOUNTS when the sugar handling issues are handled however if sugar handling is a problem raw honey is off limits and I would not recommend using it for any reason as long as this is an issue.
