Reflections on the Iso-Bow

Now that I have a bit of experience with the Iso-Bow, I thought I'd share a few

things that I have found.

1. I have a tendency to let up on the pressure when twisting the handles to move

from one direction to another. I have to conciously put in the effort to

maintain the pressure when doing this.

2. I find that trying to maintain equal pressure on both handles can trip me up.

It's like I'm dividing my concentration. I've found it better to focus on the

working arm, and the other arm will follow suit. In other words, If I'm pushing

up, I focus on making it hard, and the pulling arm will automatically provide

the resistance I want. When I'm pulling back down, I switch my focus to the

pulling arm.

3. A few times I've thought of a new exercise from out of the blue. I'll be

doing something else, and my mind might wander and think of the Iso-Bow for a

second, and then I'll suddenly think of a movement I haven't done, so I'll go

pick up my Iso-Bow and give the newly formulated exercise a go.
