Guest guest
Hello! I'm a consulting behavior analyst in Kansas. One of the families I work with is going through the IEP process for the first time (child is 3). I'm wondering what anyone here knows about the kind of training public school paras are required to have. I've been to the 's Law website but I can't find the info. I've worked with children in many school districts around here but paras never seem to have adequate training... and usually none specific to children with autism, errorless teaching, or even on what the specific IEP goals are for each child. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it! Amy E. Amy Sanner, M.A., BCBA enedeliasanner@... http://behavioralconsultant.5u.com --------------------------------- Talk is cheap.
