I, too, went through Ayurveda and TCM and western folk healing over some 20

years (both reading and implementing). The information was extremely

helpful in setting my course toward better health (and I still use certain

parts).

But I eventually realized that herbal preparations used in Ayurbeda are

usually good for the moment but not necessarily good for the long

term. After some 15 years using herbs I, instead, went the direction of

raw foods including animal (no cooking of any foods). Once I had made that

change in my diet the classic problems of indigestion vanished (I am also

Vata) and I discarded most of my herbs as I no longer needed them. I

maintain about 85+% raw and 15-% cooked overall. Some people are 100% on

raw food. So you might want to join the so-called " Primaldiet " or

" Live-Food " for additional information.

Knowledge is health (with apologies to Mr. Bacon).
