if you are translating into english, stedman's spellchecker just about does

the translating for you.

exaggerates. But only slightly. almost as useful as the oed and termium

and lots lots cheaper.

There's only one word for it Nathalie, Telepathy! Actually, I've received

(Larsson) and Jo Ann (Cahn) replies confirming Stedman's as the

spellchecker of choice into English. Apparently I was not the only one

asking myself those questions, so I'll wait until all the replies are in and

summarise with thanks to all those who responded.

As they say on another list I subscribe to Fly Safe!

Second point: everybody's been talking about spellcheckers, but nobody's

replied to Jean-Pierre's question about Fr-Eng medical dictionaries. Any

recommendations?
