Description: Everyone has bad days. Some children have more than

their share of them. The people that love them and care for them try

what they know but sometimes that's not enough. The Problem Behavior

Solutions workshop is about how to go about systematically addressing

each of those behaviors that make for bad days and replace them with

behaviors that make for great days! This workshop is for parents who

want to develop new skills for problems solving and finding solutions

and for school and agency staff as well. This workshop presents a

three-tier approach to performing Functional Behavioral Assessments in

the schools. participants will receive instruction in direct

observation for Functional Behavioral Assessments along with material

designed to guide them through the first two stages of the process. A

variety of forms and handouts are provided in order to facilitate

immediate use of the skills learned at this workshop. Space is

limited to make certain people can ask specific questions and receive

answers during the workshop.
