Guest guest
Hi there, Have anyone can help me and give me some idea. Appreciated. I am a mother of a 5 years old son with autism. After going through the antonia home ABA program web site, http://home.earthlink.net/~abaantiona/intro.htm I have a question would like to ask. I found when her son was 4.5 to 6 years old. He was at ABA home program. He always has a reinforcment when having the ABA program. He was supposed to be full after a meal during the ABA lesson. Did her mother give him (LUKAs) a regular meal? Or she didn't prepare any meal to him and keep him hungry (starving) until the ABA therapist taught him with a reinforcer and he will take a more attention and concentrate to learn? I am wondering if her mother did not give her son a regular meal. Otherwise, he won't pay attention to learn any from his therapist if he was full with a regular meal. I thought that the therapist just gave him a little bit reinforcer everytime when he did it right without prompt and right response. Is it right? I would appreciate if specalist or mother could tell me more. Can you give me any suggestion or idea? Thanks a lot.
