Guest guest
My kidlet is so argumentative the last week. She's 15 days into being on Celexa (tsp oral), is 11, just started 6th grade, tells me I don't make any sense (this is not her usual), gets very excitable when hanging with her friends, and is more disobedient than what is normal for her. She's also bloated. Maybe I'm just tired, but I can't seem to find anything with side effects of Celexa on kids. I'm wondering how much of this is meds, how much is attitude, and how much is just being 11 with a changing body. Her anxiety level is still up pretty high in the evenings mostly, yet she pretty much refuses to use the Atarax until she has tried to work through it. Her thoughts still center around health/body/harm to self issues, but also seem to be calming down a little bit. She sees the therapist Friday. They had her work on a list of fears last time she was in there, so I am thinking they are getting past the get to know ya phase and into some action steps. I'll bring this all up to the therapist. We are also trying to get her geared up for the 6th grade trip to Yosemite in November. I'm also supposed to go on a business trip during that time as well. I'm wondering how realistic that is. lol The good news is that even though it feels like we are constantly floundering, that floundering feeling is becoming............ normal. haha **shakes head and heads off to bed** ~~Kathy gkathy40@... http://www.myspace.com/clearingachannel yahoo messenger id gkathy40@...
