Guest guest
Carmen, Your best bet for Iron supplementation is from your food. If you are eating a good functional diet you should not need any form of Iron supplementation at all. If you should be short in the interim of adjusting your diet you would want to take a specific whole food based iron supplement. The Iron in cast Iron is not the same iron in food form, much like the calcium in dark green leafys or in milk is not the same as the calcium in rock beds or sidewalks. The availability and unlikelyhood of excess is much greater in a food source.
