I love Bubbies sauerkraut and pickles and I was disappointed

to find out that they are heated!

My coop sells " Hill Farm of Vermont " Sauerkraut that looks like

the real deal AND it's organic with celtic sea salt as the only

other ingredient. It is very crunchy, but not as salty as Bubbies.

On the label they say that they do not heat it and that the

flavor improves over time as the kraut is under continuous fermentation.

You can even order it by the gallon! Their number is (802)

426-3234.

Seems the Hill Farm business has been sold!

I haven't tried the new folks yet, but take a look at this:

The logo on the website is the same as on my delicious jar of

sauerkraut in my fridge...Only the name has changed from " Hill Farm "

to " Wellspring Farm. " I'm sure it's the same stuff.

a rose by any other name...
