Does anybody have an English translation for " aires ganglionnaires " ?

Context:

" L'examen clinique <snip>... L'examen neurologique ne montre pas

d'anomalie.

ganglionnaires. "

I wonder if this isn't redundant in English -- seems like we would just say

(in my context) " there was no (palpable) lymphadenopathy " and leave it at

that. In any case, I can't think of any all-encompassing term for " the

areas in which lymph nodes occur " -- but it's late and I'm tired, and maybe

one of you can??

TIA,

Marla

Hi Marla,

As you know, the Hodgkin's disease classification (in 4 stages) is mainly

based on the extent of the involvement des aires ganglionnaires. So, in this

classification, I'm used to see LN regions and less often LN areas. LN =

lymph nodes.
