Has anyone tried this or is it even any good? I have no dairy at the moment and

would like to try something other than vinegar for the soaking of our oats in

the morning. NT mentions whey for soaking lots of things, but I'm wondering if

this " Sweet Dairy Whey " by Bob's Red Mill is good for anything or not.

Thanks

Sonja

If you have access to Stoneyfield or Brown Cow yogurt you have a source of

whey. I strain mine through an unbleached coffee filter. The whey will last

for months and we make cheese spreads out of the leftover curd. It's a treat

once in awhile to take a break and buy some yogurt rather than making it.
