well...with steel bow..you can change the tension by applying a different spring....so for the 100 reps....if you use the mid level spring, you're gong to feel it and you can hit the 100 rep (depending on the movement...you may want to use the lightest spring for some..but again..it's variable and up to you as the user). If you use the hard spring..good luck on the 100 reps. So this would be very close to the classic...given the hardest spring on the SBow is almost equal (with shorter stroke of course) to the classic tension...if this makes sense.

To those who have both the steel bow & classic. How does it feel to do the "sit@home workout" with a classic instead of a steel bow?

To be honest, I would have great difficulty doing the " sit-at-home " routine with

the classic. Maybe a younger, more fit person could do it, but I'm 60 and have

been away from any serious workouts for several years. I use the Classic to

supplement my daily Steel Bow routine. It's like using dunbells and barbells.

I like using both, but if I had to choose only one, my choice would be the SB.

Having three springs to choose from gives it a lot of versatility. But having

both use is my preference. I'm curious to see what the Iso-Gym will be like.

I like the classic for legs in the sit at home and on occasion for other

exercises e.g. archer pull. To mix it up it saves on spring changes for larger

body /muscle groups etc other times I use two steel bows an older model and the

new one with heavy spring and one with light swopping between them.

Thanks for your replies you guys. I think my situation is a bit like Bob's. I

too am pushing 60 y.o. In my younger days i loved my old bullworker. Recently

I rediscovered the bully. This time I bought a Steel bow. I like it a lot,

especially as the springs are more forgiving. (But it doesn't lend itself to

the leg exercises (holding with feet - not much room & hard to keep it balanced

evenly.)
