Guest guest
My son who is autistic, going to be 8 in May. We live in Cyprus where facilities offerd to such children are less compared to many other countries. He cannot talk except for few words and the communication done with the help of PECS. His teacher is working hard with him in the special unit in the government school in our area. He has high temper that we try to work calm him down most of the time. We are not following any special diat for him as his appetite is limited to 5 verieties. Other than the school he also undergoes extra speech therapy and special education couple of times a week. I am a Sri lankan and my wife is a Cypriot and we have a daughter of 17 too. Things are fine with us and we just continue with our lives always consider and belive that we have a wonderful family. It is a challanged we have to take and want to make sure that we do the best for him and he is happy at the end of the day. If u sit down and analyze on each and everything that comes to your mind with regard to his future, we come to many conclusions and things are going to be harder. Do the best for him with in your limit and c ontinue your life normally is the way of my thinking... Can any one be more advisable to this.?..you r welcome. Ajith and , Cyprus.
