Associate Veterinarian – Integrative Pet Care, Chicago, IL

Seeking associate veterinarian to provide rehabilitative veterinary

care to patients and supervise clinical staff at IPC's two-doctor

animal rehabilitation hospital. You'll work at IPC's 6,000 square

foot state of the art and fully equipped facility (featured in

Veterinary Economics) in one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago --

Bucktown.

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to

providing clinical veterinary care, examination, treatment and

follow up for the pets of IPC clients in specialty areas of

veterinary rehabilitation, veterinary acupuncture, veterinary

chiropractic and wellness; design and prescribe veterinary

rehabilitation programs to treat orthopedic conditions; follow

established protocols for animal care and treatment; contribute to

the interview process of potential staff; participate in in-house

training programs for clinical staff; supervise, manage, guide and

train rehabilitation therapists and other non-veterinary clinical

staff, and take part in public relations and marketing efforts

including community outreach, media events, open houses and peer-to-

peer interaction.

The ideal candidate must have experience in a traditional veterinary

practice setting successfully treating patients and positively

interacting with clients. Must have background and experience in

veterinary acupuncture and/or veterinary chiropractic and/or

veterinary rehabilitation or be willing to acquire the skills and

certification in these areas. Competitive base salary (based on

are 40 hours per week; Tuesday through Saturday with some evenings.
