Central Texas Autism Center Therapists Needed

Central Texas Autism Center is currently looking to hire 2 part-time

therapists to work one-on-one with children with autism using

ABA/Verbal Behavior. One of the therapists positions calls for

someone who is fluent in sign language. See job descriptions below:

1. PART TIME THERAPIST:

Job Requirements:

* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in special education, education,

deaf education, behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field

* Experience working with children with special needs in a school

or ABA program is a plus but not required

Job Description:

* Hours (to be determined)

* Attend a 4 week training course at CTAC

* Work 1:1 with students with an ASD or a Developmental Disability

Develop lesson plans, maintain data books, train parents

* Receive direct supervision from a BCBA

* Pay is hourly and based on your level of education and experience

2. PART TIME THERAPIST - MUST BE FLUENT IN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL):

Job Requirements:

* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in special education, education,

deaf education, behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field

* Experience working with children with special needs in a school

or ABA program is a plus but not required

Job Description:

* Hours 1:30-5:30, M-F

* Attend a 4 week training course at CTAC

* Work 1:1 with students with an ASD or a Developmental Disability

Develop lesson plans, maintain data books, train parents

* Receive direct supervision from a BCBA

* Pay is hourly and based on your level of education and experience
