Dear colleagues, I'm translating a medical report titled " Childhood seizures

may lead to epilepsy " .

Does anyone know the Italian or at least an English explanation for this

expression " Using a novel rat model and _patch-clamp recording techniques_

X and Y have shown that seizures caused by a large rise in body temperature

lead to long-term alterations in neurons of the hippocampus of the brain

involved in short-term memory " . My deepest thanks for any help.
