I've been off this list for awhile and just wanted to say hi!

Wow! It has been a long time! I took a break from life for about 18

months! My seventeen (now 18) year-old-daughter became very ill. I

also wanted to finish a book I've been trying to write for over 13

years. My book comes out this summer. This past January, I started

working for a large school district in Northern VA. The school

district advertizes that they include Verbal Behavior in their

enhanced autism programs so I was thrilled to come on board. What a

nightmare when I realized most of the schools actually do not

implement Verbal Behavior. I would love to talk to other Virginians

who have experienced trouble trying to get Verbal Behavior in their

schools because I've started my second book. I have already heard from

several autism teachers who have been treated horribly for wanting to

do Verbal Behavior...I'd love to hear from parents, too. It's good to
