Guest guest
Hi Everyone- As some of you are aware, I presented a poster at the Rehab and Physical Therapy in Vet Medicine Symposium in Minneapolis on the work that we did at the University of Louisville on designing and developing a build-it-yourself, adjustable canine wheelchair. At that time I promised that I would be posting the step-by-step instructions for building the wheelchair on a website. After a few hurdles with our Office of Tech Transfer, I am happy to report that the website is now available with free downloadable instructions to build our medium and large sized canine wheelchair. I have also started a blog on the same website where you can post questions and comments about your experience in building and/or using our canine wheelchair. The hope is that we will be able to improve upon our design by receiving your important feedback. Here is the website: http://web.mac.com/gbertocci/Canine_Wheelchair_Site/Canine_Wheelchair_Overview.h\ tml I look forward to hearing from each of you who are willing to give the do-it-yourself approach a try!
