Hi Everyone-

As some of you are aware, I presented a poster at the Rehab and Physical Therapy

in Vet

Medicine Symposium in Minneapolis on the work that we did at the University of

Louisville on

designing and developing a build-it-yourself, adjustable canine wheelchair. At

that time I

promised that I would be posting the step-by-step instructions for building the

wheelchair

on a website. After a few hurdles with our Office of Tech Transfer, I am happy

to report that

the website is now available with free downloadable instructions to build our

medium and

large sized canine wheelchair. I have also started a blog on the same website

where you can

post questions and comments about your experience in building and/or using our

canine

wheelchair. The hope is that we will be able to improve upon our design by

receiving your

important feedback.

Here is the website:

I look forward to hearing from each of you who are willing to give the

do-it-yourself

approach a try!
