Guest guest
I'm looking for grass-fed lamb (or mutton) in the Northern California area. The farmer should be willing to allow me to butcher it myself. (The number given for Bodega Pastures is always busy and the email I sent them bounced.) Due to religious requirements, I can't eat meat unless it's butchered in a certain manner. While there isn't a shortage of meat at the local Muslim shops, I'm not sure if they have any grass-fed meat. They certainly carry Australian and New Zealand lamb. Are these meats always grass-fed and antibiotic free? What about the fact that this meat has been frozen, possibly for an extended period of time? Does this affect the nutritional value? Thanks, Moustafa __________________________________________________
