Questions regarding Sonrise programs

Hi,

I Work with children with autism (training sessions

and team supervision), and i'm starting to work with a

new family. One of their acquaintance has proposed

them to work with using Son-rise programs.

Because, some things really trouble me. example

: " joining in a child's repetitive and ritualistic

behaviors supplies the key to unlocking the mystery of

these behaviors and facilitates eye contact, social

development and the inclusion of others in play " .

--> I'm not so sure that reinforcing this kind of

behavior will do any good...

As for myself, I work mainly using DTT and VB, I read

about sonrise on their website, but i would like to

have feedback from you out there who might give me

information about these sonrise programs. And as i

work/live in France, direct feedback is not really

available.
