Guest guest
My daughter needs suggestions on how to get my 5 year old granddaughter to wipe her own bottom in a timely manner. Since being diagnosed with OCD we have learned lots of ways to help her with certain things, but this is still an issue. She has started Kindergarten this year and so far at school there have been no real problems, but....at home it's a different story. We worry that sooner or later it could come up at school. It was hard getting her to start wiping in the first place and now it just takes her so long, and she wipes herself too hard, until she complains that it hurts her. I feel so bad for her because it's obvious that she just doesn't want to deal with this type of mess. She will stay in the bathroom singing and talking on the toilet. Her three year old sister already takes care of her self in the bathroom. We would appreciate any advice on this issue. Thank You!
