Free Seminar for Parents Wed July 19: Potty training children with

special needs

This presentation will include specific steps, including antecedents

and consequences, for toilet training children with special needs,

based on the work of Foxx and Azrin. These

procedures are designed to teach the child to self-initiate

elimination in the toilet when the child feels the need to do so. A

child does not need a vocal verbal repertoire nor manding

(requesting) repertoire in order to achieve mastery. Handouts will

be provided.
