Lee Canter's Assertive Discipline?

Hi, has anyone heard of this and/or knows of it's effectiveness? My son is

being transferred out of his verbal behavior program at his current school

pending placement in a more restrictive school due to behaviors. One of the

schools I'm looking at uses this method to control behaviors and they said it's

very effective and have had great success with it.

Assertive discipline is based on principles of ABA. In the right hands,

it can be very successful. Like very other program, it requires some

dedication and skill to get it right.
