I bought Lima brand French Atlantic Sea Salt ( " unrefined, no

additives, no preservatives, no heating " ) for $3.28/kg at my

coop. You can visit their website: www.limafood.com--just ignore

the veg. agenda and soy products.

the traditional artisan techniques in the salt marshes of the

island of Noirmoutier, in Vendée (France).

It is grey and " humid " and tastes great.

Hi Faith,

I would hope that the main ingredient of the sea salt is sodium chloride,

with other elements also included. They may not all be chlorides, but

there is probably quite a bit of calcium chloride and potassium chloride

in it too.
