Guest guest
Hi, Dina. I found it with our state department of health. They have disciplinary actions listed, for doctors in the state. I assume all states must. Also, just for curiosity's sake, I ran a Google search on this doctor's name. It came up with an articles in a couple local newspapers, about him, and the charges against him. Yes, I agree. . We should all be checking. It's up to us to be a good consumer. ) Hugs, BJ -- In , Dina wrote: > > BJ, > > Where did you go to find out that the therapist was on probation? Guest guest
Awwwwwww, thanks for thinking of me, Kathy. Just was a crazy week for me. Busy, busy, busy. Didn't get online much really, and not in the room at all. All is well, just hectic. ) Hugs, BJ > > > > Are you there? I haven't seen any posts from you in a while. Guest guest
Oh, that makes sense then, Vickie. Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were seeing a therapist on Monday, not a psychiatrist. Typically a psychiatrist takes care of the meds, then a therapist does the actual therapy. Although, you can find an occasional psychiatrist who will do the therapy. Yes, I would say if they don't know or do ERP, then they aren't trained in treating OCD. I hope you find someone easily. People who really know how to treat OCD, can be rare and hard to find. I searched for about 3 months, but my state is especially bad. Did you try the ocfoundation.org website? They might have someone for you. BJ > > > > > > > > > > My 9 yr old son always seems to have a nervous habit.
