CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS

Be a part of the largest, comprehensive Autism Conference on Long Island!

The Long Island Autism Fair & Conference (LIAF & C) is looking for volunteers

the weekend of April 1st & 2nd, 2006.

Two shifts are available: 7:45am-12:15pm & 11:30am-7:00pm

All volunteers will get a catered, buffet lunch (11:30am-12:45pm). You may

also spend the remainder of the day at the conference, either attending

breakouts or visiting the exhibitors. All volunteers will also receive a

Kidz Therapy event bag, 300 page program, Sports Plus wristband for the

Family Entertainment Center (good for rides that day) and a certificate of

appreciation.

Non-Autism Community members are welcome (like Scouts or Senior Citizen

groups). All volunteers under 18 must be supervised by an adult. Groups of

over 10 people can get a free vendor table for the weekend (limited number

available and located in the second hallway- by the Event Centre offices).

If you are interested, please email chingwags@... with the shift and top

three jobs you would like. Here are the choices of jobs:

sell tickets

check tickets at door

check name tags at breakout doors

oversee general information table

sell items at NAALI or NAA stores

hand out packets to vendors and speakers

moderate rooms and introduce speakers

hand out event bags and programs

collect surveys

collect signatures for petitions

hand out pens/collect index cards from attendees with questions for speakers
