Guest guest
Yes, it is never correct to prescribe for someone a physician has never seen, in fact, in land such a physician is open to disciplinary actions. For a non-physician to rush into such a situation is way off. Thanks, and blessings to all.Steve KoobOne More SoulsteveomsoulBirth control Pill to treat hemophiliaToday in my 9th grade CCD class that I teach, a 9th grade student saidthat she was taking birth control pills given to her by her Ob/Gyn andblood specialist doctor to treat hemophilia. I told her that I've neverheard of that and encouraged her to get off the pill. Then I see on this websitehttp://www.childrenshospital.org/clinicalservices/Site1971/mainpageS1971P16.html "Treating von Willebrand Disease Treatment of this condition caninclude the use of birth control pills to minimize menstrual bleeding, and sometimes the use of the synthetic hormone DDAVP to increase levelsof von Willebrand factor in the blood." Was it wrong for me to tell her to get a different treatment? __________________________________________________________Free quote and debt consolidation information.
