Guest guest
Hi! Does anyone know what high velocity syndrome is? I have a volunteer here who is on dialysis. She had a problem earlier this week with a blood vessel breaking in the eye & then it caused some massive swelling. She went to the dr today & at first, they thought the sinuses were completely impacted. Went for a CT and finally to an ENT, and he says no, the sinuses are not a problem--it's this high velocity syndrome. Whatever it is, affects the eye & pressure, we think. He didn't elaborate much & we're wondering if he just made up most of it just to give her reassurance that it's not very serious. He put her on some antibiotics to cover possible infection. Any help would be appreciated. Ray, Assistant Director Casa de Amigos 1101 E Garden Lane Midland, TX 79701 (fax)
